TODC-M series dust collector is the first in the world to use gravity and downward air flow pattern to facilitate the self-cleaning process, the dusty air enters from the bottom and exits from the top of the other side, the design realizes the dust flow pattern downward "inertial settling" dust removal theory, and makes the direction of the dusty air flow and the direction of gravity consistent, so that the dust is easier to This makes the dust easier to settle and remove, and will not be brought back to the filter cartridge.

When the dust collector is in operation, the dusty air enters the TODC-M sinker from the top inlet, passes through the filter cartridge, the dust is collected on the outer surface of the cartridge, and the clean air is released to the clean air chamber through the center of the cartridge and then discharged through the outlet. When the cartridges are emptied, a solid-state timer automatically selects a pair of cartridges to be emptied, so that high-pressure compressed air rushes directly into the center of the cartridge and blows the dust off the surface of the filter material. The dust then follows the main airflow and falls downward into the dust hopper by gravity.

The sink-flow dust collector eliminates the problem of "secondary dust absorption" and improves dust removal efficiency.

Cartridge

As an integral part of the TODC-M sinker, the filter cartridge and the dust collector are cleverly combined to greatly enhance their respective functions, giving the unit unparalleled performance and extending the service life of the filter cartridge. This ingenious concept and design also optimizes the maintenance and servicing of the cartridge, giving the TODC-M a unique advantage in the industry. Due to the long service life of the filter cartridges and their excellent dust collection and dust cleaning capabilities, cartridge replacement is rarely required.

The dust collector uses a high efficiency cartridge as the filter element, which differs from conventional filter media in that it is coated with a Teflon film. Traditional filter materials (such as cotton, cotton satin, paper and other traditional cellulose, etc.) have a fiber gap of 5 to 60 um. When the soot passes through, part of the soot particles will enter the filter material and block the filter element; when the blockage gradually worsens and effective dust cleaning cannot be carried out, the air resistance of the filter element will rise and the air flow through it will drop. If there is no automatic dust cleaning, the filtration effect will drop rapidly, but the surface of the filter material used in this series of dust collectors is equipped with a layer of PTFE film, whose tiny sieve holes can block most of the submicron dust particles; submicron dust particles gather on the surface of the filter material and form a permeable dust barrier cake, most of the dust particles are blocked on the outer surface of the filter material and cannot enter the inside of the filter material, which can be effectively removed in time under the blowing of compressed air. The filter media has a high filtration efficiency, at least 3 to 5 times higher than the traditional filter media, and the filtration efficiency for ≥0.1μm soot is ≥99.99%; and the service life is more than 2 times higher than the traditional filter media.


The cartridge adopts PTFE laminated filter material, which is a new type of fume and dust capturing filter element, and its filtration effect can make a deep impression even in a particularly harsh environment. For non-bonded dusts, PTFE laminated filter elements can achieve high filtration efficiency. The filter element maintains a constant filtration capacity even when the ambient temperature is below the dew point temperature. The high mechanical stability of the material ensures a long service life of the filter elements. The construction of the filters ensures that they are compatible with existing filtration systems. PTFE laminated filter media offer the advantages of membrane filtration and rigid body filtration. The small size and large filtration area of the robust rigid filter body allows high operating pressures and a very long service life.


Self-cleaning principle of filter cartridges

Cleaning of the dust collector filter material is achieved by a pulse blowing mechanism controlled by a differential pressure sensor: after a period of operation of the dust collector, fine soot is adsorbed on the surface of the filter material, making the filter material less breathable. The differential pressure sensor has two detection heads, one on the raw gas side and one on the clean gas side. When the differential pressure sensor detects the differential pressure exceeds a certain set value, the differential pressure signal is output, and the pulse generator receives the signal and starts the pulse blowing valve in sequence, clean compressed air is ejected from the valve port, and the airflow is directed to the filter cartridge for blowing until the differential pressure is lower than another set value before stopping; the fine dust adsorbed on the surface of the filter material is removed under the action of airflow and falls into the dust collection hopper at the lower part of the chamber.

Pulse blowing requires 0.6 MPa of clean compressed air, and a continuous and constant air supply must be maintained during operation.
